Video: Whip check vs. hose sock

Drill Safe

This video is part of our Technical Series on Compressor and Air Hose Safety. Click here for an outline of the entire Technical Series.

This video was produced by an American manufacturer to demonstrate the effectiveness of a hose sock restraint versus a whip check. An electronically activated release mechanism was used to simulate a failed connection or hose in each case - watch the video -  if you still use whip checks, I am sure you will be convinced to make the change!
